Palau Reial Major

This is the place to visit if you are interested to know more about the city and its rulers. In fact, this palace was the Barcelonan residence of the Count of Aragon. Later on, especially during the Roman period, it became the residence of the local governor. After that, Visigoth Ataulfo owned this building. This place is a must visit for those who are interested in the Romanesque style of architecture.
