Hospital de Sant Pau

Translated into the English language, this Catalan name means `Hospital of the Holy Cross and Saint Paul.’ Hospital de Sant Pau was constructed between the years 1901 to 1930 and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This building served as a full-fledged hospital until the year 2009. Tourists will be amazed to learn that the original hospital dates back to 1401 when a group of six small medieval hospitals grouped together. Those old buildings that are situated in the heart of Barcelona currently house an art school.
